July 17, 2004 - Iowa Games Intro - Ben Warming up at the first show of the year. He earned his first medal scoring 67%, placing 3rd out of 9. More on Ben's Page.

July 18, 2004 - Jasper County Fair - Halter - Ben Next day, another show. Belgian yearling, Clydesdale stallion (4yo) and us (Ben at 3.)

Warren County Fair - Ride-A-Draft - Ben This was a good sized class and very few were shown in harness or bareback. We'd all gotten a lot of rain and the arena was less than ideal and really made them work. We had about an half hour longer to warmup than usual, but it was good. We ended up getting 2nd out of a dozen. *Same Clydesdale stallion from above.*

July 25, 2004. Warren County Fair - Ladies Cart - Ben His first time being shown in cart. We had one class in between this one and the riding class. Chele untacked Ben while I changed my clothes. We borrowed an old timer to help us get the harness out of the nose of the trailer, got him harnessed, bridled, lines ran and hitched w/ five minutes to spare! We placed 2nd out of 8.

August 14, 2004 - TRPC - Training Level - Ben He had a nice showing for Test 1. He scored 64%, placing him 2nd out of 11 and only a few percentages behind an older warmblood gelding.

September 17, 2004 - Clay County Fair - Halter - Ben After 3" of rain, we made it!! This was taken after the class. He's real thrilled w/ it all. :)

September 19, 2004 - Clay County Fair - Open Pleasure Driving - Ben 2nd place out of 7 or 8. Mini is 34", Draft Pony Cross is 14hh.
